Just about this time a year ago, we were exploring the Baltic States. For three weeks we were roaming around the three countries from this European region.

The first nice project I would like to tell you about is Meteliai observation tower from Lithuania. This tower is situated between two lakes Dusia and Metelys therefore, the 360 ° beautiful view. The accessibility is very good by car because the tower is located directly on the road side.

In the Baltic countries is not so much of height differences and you will find everywhere an observation tower, because to be honest the nature is just amazing and it would be a pity not to have the opportunity to see the natural environment from a higher point.

The project is realized by Arvydas Gudelis Architecture Office. I really liked how they created the shape of an infinite illusion and the way they used the materials. The tower is 15 meters high and the main materials used are wood and the structure is made out of steel. Being up is very convenient to watch the birds on the lake or other animals around the meadows. Very peaceful.

I will continue showing you the other fascinating observation towers from the middle of the nature discovered in the Baltic States.
